Fall. It’s one of my absolute favorite seasons!
The days get shorter. The nights get cooler. Leaves start changing. I can eat apple pie for breakfast (it’s a thing, really!). And it’s the time when my favorite holidays are inching closer on the calendar - Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Being in Southern California, I can’t say that the days are cooler by any means. Actually, September and October are sometimes some of the hottest months out of the year. So since I can’t really transition to a cooler weather wardrobe quite yet, I like to at least update my front porch to help welcome in this new season!
It’s been quite the trend lately to decorate our front porches. It used to be just swap out the wreath on the door from time to time, or at the very least, put one up for Christmas. And then it started evolving to changing the welcome mats, to adding plants, to decor, to seating, to adding more and more and more! The trends right now are literally bringing the indoors out. Think of it as an introduction to what might be inside your home ❤️
So with that, here are some of my favorite front porch items! And remember, these not only are great for your own personal enjoyment, but also make great housewarming, holiday, and host/ess gifts too!
